Hi!

Can someone help me to identify this button please. Its a metal detecting find from south Finland.

Diameter is 25mm.

Thank you! Here is another one i found today about 50m from previous one, from forest.
It must be navy button ;) But is the maker same and same era?

Ok thank you! Diameter is same in anchor button 25mm (24,8mm)[/quote]

This button belonged to naval officer. According to the makers marks on the back side it was in use from 1840 to 1862

Hi!

Here is another button with "Lyre", i did not find identical from here http://www.pugoviza.ru/files/class_butt_cat.shtml?d=1&n=iah&fn=iah
Back side is quite bad and has some text in there, but it cant be read. Diameter is 2,2cm.
